Why Adventure & Co.?

My personal mantra is ‘to live life to its fullest, have a healthy balance of work, give back to the community and to keep on learning.’ That is exactly what Adventure & Co means to me.

The truth is that I was frustrated. Frustrated with not being in work that felt meaningful and fulfilled my purpose. So I started by refining and articulating my values and purpose first — like my personal mantra. Then the idea of Adventure & Co. came to me.

I was training in the ring with Ben when inspiration struck. I knew I could develop a business where I would be helping people to breakout of their own personal ‘ruts’ and help them find their own purpose and zest for life…

We started Adventure & Co. with the main aim of kickstarting transformation in people’s lives. Whatever that transformation may look like to them, we want to be there to help facilitate and support them through it.

We want to connect with people who want to have fun while getting healthy in mind and body – who want to learn that you can have coffee, wine and chocolate but just need to be listen to your body on how much and how often. And that overall its more about loving and listening to your body first.

We want to be fun, accessible and understandable. We can relate to you and your walk of life – I know that stuck feeling I felt before I even thought of Adventure & Co. is all to familiar to many. We want to embrace and empower people. We help kick start their life long love affair with feeling great!

We do this through a combination of experiential learning through our adventure experiences along with mindset, fitness and nutrition coaching.  We provide an escape but we’ll guide you through how to get back in touch with your mind and body. We focus on physical wellness, but also mental health and nutrition. It’s a holistic, whole person approach.

We provide fitness travel options for people who want to kick start their health and wellness and they need to get out of their everyday routine to do so. We are also there to put our clients in touch with any other professional support they may need.

If you are here, reading this blog, we know you at least have an interest in fitness and being active. We’re not here to deny that it’s easy to incorporate these things to our busy everyday lives, but as people who live and breathe fitness, we are here to be your support through starting a transformation, or a transition into a lifestyle that might remain busy, but includes fitness and being active.

We want to connect with you, a real person, who seeks balance in life like we do. To know that it’s okay to eat chocolate and drink wine sometimes.

Here is how we hope to support you through your journey, an adventure only you can experience:

  • An ongoing, real connection with supportive, healthy living people. We don’t want to take your money for every-bit of advice. We will partner with you long term. 
    Our goal is to inspire people to be the best version of themselves for the rest of their lives. To stimulate their thinking. To help enlighten them that the way they feel now is not “normal”. They can feel 100% better and have more energy and invest in their health.
  • Practical fitness programs and advice. A regular weekly workout session with other likeminded people or with a one-on-one session. Or just do your own workouts and check in with us on the other stuff.
  • Practical nutrition advice. This is what we eat and how we prepare it.  No gimmicks.  No fancy brands and counting calories. Real, whole foods that are full of nutrition.  You get re-educated in why its important to do simple things like wash your fruit and veggies, eat whole foods in their natural state and cook your own food more.
  • Fun!! You get to go away and connect with your fun side! We take the hassle out of organising all of this stuff for you! You get out of your mundane, working day life and you get a chance to reconnect with nature and get out of your comfort zone. Find your zen. Find yourself. Get your inspiration for life and loving yourself back.

All you have to do is sign up, pay, and commit to showing up and putting in an effort when you are there. Have the attitude that you only get what you put in. You reap what you sow.

We’ll organise your flights (if you want), your ground transfers, your accommodation, your workouts, most meals and some of your tours.
